Sewing Arts Center is a hidden gem! Matrin and his staff are so fantastic, they are very knowledgeable and helpful. Weather you are looking for a new machine to add to your collection or just a tuneup or repair on one you already have go see Martin and his team. He has taken care of my vintage collection for years. With thier new location they have all kinds of fun sewing accessories and a birdy even said there will be classes starting this fall! I’ve been taking all of my sewing machines to Martin since I bought them, and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else! ❤️ The service is always exceptional, my machines come back in tip-top shape, and Martin is always so friendly and helpful. It’s such a relief knowing my machines are in good hands, especially when they’re such an important part of my quilting. We had an exceptional and positive experience at Sewing Arts Centre. We were able to make an appointment for our sewing machine repair and be able to pick it up same day as we’re from Calgary. Sewing Arts Centre is truly one of Red Deer’s hidden gems. Martin and Jena are the ultimate dynamic duo—knowledgeable, kind, incredibly generous with their time, and always willing to go above and beyond to help however they can. Martin has made multiple trips to my classroom to service numerous machines, even returning two days later when a machine I initially thought didn’t need servicing went down. What stands out even more than their expertise is the way they treat people. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re treated like family. They genuinely care about their customers, take the time to answer questions, and want to see you succeed, whether you’re threading your very first machine or tackling an ambitious quilting project. Supporting a local business like Sewing Arts Centre is a no-brainer when the people behind it are this exceptional. I cannot recommend Martin, Jena, and Sewing Arts Centre highly enough. This is the best sewing shop in Red Deer. Martin has been servicing our High School sewing machines for over a decade. He is extremely knowledgeable, precise in his work and very reliable. His friendly attitude and helpful suggestions are always welcome. Any problems I have with my various machines I take to him and they are always quickly dealt with. Recently I took my sewing machine to a repair shop and was told it wouldn't be ready for 2½ weeks. Two and a half weeks is too long to be without a sewing machine! The next morning I called the Sewing Arts Center which is almost twice as far away. Yes I could bring it in and because I was from farther away, if I wanted to wait they would do it immediately and I could take it home the same day and save a trip. I retrieved it from where I had taken it, and the next day drove it to the Sewing Arts Center. Martin and his receptionist were very friendly and accommodating. He took it to the back to begin work. I got a call in the afternoon saying I could pick it up. I highly recommend the Sewing Arts Center if you need any  sewing machine repair done.
